Bodies are still being counted after a magnitude-6.8 earthquake that shook Sikkim, a state in the far northwest corner of India, on Sunday. The death toll stands at 66 as landslides and inclement weather have continued to delay rescue workers, who face a tangled mass of toppled buildings, snapped power lines, and overturned mobile towers. More than 2,500 army troops have been deployed to aid the relief effort, but some parts of the disaster area are still inaccessible. The tragedy has spilled over into neighboring Nepal and Tibet, which each reported seven deaths.
