A crazed gunman randomly shot at passing motorists in Hollywood on Friday, hitting one man in the head who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Witnesses saw the gunman and hailed down police officers, who were working on a movie set nearby, according to the LAPD. The officers rushed to the scene and immediately fired at the suspect, who was pronounced dead. One bystander told a local TV station he heard nine to 12 shots, and saw the gunman aiming at cars.
