Hogan Gidley, Rick Santorum's campaign-communications director, announced via Twitter Friday that the presidential hopeful's campaign has raised over $1 million since the middle of this week. Following his primary wins in Alabama and Mississippi Tuesday, Santorum declared "a brand-new ball game" in a fundraising pitch to prospective donors. It seems to have done the trick.
