Following a loss to Mitt Romney in Illinois, Rick Santorum headed south to Louisiana to campaign ahead of that state's upcoming primary. The candidate attempted to appeal to the crowd at an energy company outside New Orleans by promising to allow more gas and oil drilling, which will bring more jobs to the region. "The people of Louisiana deserve someone to come down here and tell you what he believes," Santorum declared. "You folks have had a lot of tough times over the last few years, with Katrina and the oil spill. It's been a shaky, shaky time, and you folks have stood tall and weathered the storms." He seemed to be calling out Romney specifically when he said, "You need someone who will weather the storm with you and not blow in the wind, depending on which way the wind is blowing."
