World leaders talked in Mexico Sunday as a meeting of the G20 nations that will focus on the world economy got underway. President Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Monday, but the two leaders are likely to be wary of one another as distrust between the two countries builds. “I expect that it will be a candid discussion, it will get down to business,” said Ben Rhodes, deputy national-security adviser to Obama. Last week the United States accused Russia of sending weapons to aid the regime of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, and discussions of Russia’s role in the embattled nation could take place.
