Apple has long made it easy to tweet from any iDevice imaginable. Now that close partnership may become financial. According to the New York Times, the company is considering making a "strategic investment" in the social networking site: a deal that could value Twitter at more than $10 billion, and put hundreds of millions of Apple's money at stake. Apple has an uneasy relationship with Facebook and Google, and a move on Twitter may be a way to fight back in an area where the tech giant has lagged: social networking. “Those guys are a great partner,” Twitter's CEO has said of Apple. “We think of them as a company that our company looks up to.”
