Somebody’s going to feel left out. After The New York Times reported that Iran had agreed to one-on-one nuclear negotiations with the United States, Israeli officials said they had not been told of any breakthrough. According to the disputed Times report, which cited senior government officials, the U.S. will begin talks with Iran after the presidential election—though the White House denies any "breakthrough." Israeli officials, including Defense Minister Ehud Barak, said that they were not aware of the information published in the Times report. “Iran has consistently refused to hold aboveboard talks with the United States,” said Vice Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon.
