A Chicago man was officially charged Sunday with spitting in the face of a Secret Service agent guarding President Obama’s house. Kevin Lawrence, 46, is being held on $50,000 bail. According to police records, Lawrence reportedly approached a vehicle with an agent inside and then allegedly spit inside the car, hitting the agent’s face and neck. Lawrence was arrested Saturday at his home, which is less than a mile from Obama’s house. Chicago police did not comment on why there was a two-week lag between the incident and the arrest.
