The viral video sensation may have died down, but Joseph Kony remains on the loose. The U.S. on Wednesday offered a bounty of up to $5 million for the capture of the African warlord. The announcement came shortly after the U.S. and Uganda were forced to end their two-year search for Kony after rebels gained power in the Central African Republic, where Kony is believed to be hiding. The money comes from the State Department’s newly expanded War Crimes Rewards Program. There are also bounties out for two fellow members of Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army, Okot Odhiambo and Dominic Ongwen.
