Flooded Mexico Towns Await Aid

40,000 tourists are stranded.

After a pounding by two tropical storms, Hurricanes Ingrid and Manuel, along with a deadly landslide, Mexican towns are awaiting aid. The storms resulted in blocked off highways and destroyed or damaged 35,000 homes, and at least 150 people could be dead. And talk about a nightmare vacation: around 40,000 tourists vacationing in Acapulco are stranded and awaiting military airlifts after the nearby airport terminal was flooded.
