Does this mean we’ll be spared hearing all the insane reasons why anyone would mail a letter laced with ricin to President Obama and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and then try to blame her husband? Because that’s kind of a shame. Sharon Guess Richardson, the Texas actress who did exactly that, has reportedly entered a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, according the Texarkana Gazette. The U.S. Attorney’s Office has added a “notice of plea agreement” to the docket for Richardson, although no court date has been set. Her pretrial hearing for December 2 has been canceled. Richardson, who was pregnant at the time, allegedly sent letters this summer that were laced with a homemade concoction similar to ricin to Obama, Bloomberg, and Michael Glaze, the head of a gun-control group.
