Ian Watkins, 36, a singer with the Welsh rock band Lostprophets, has pleaded guilty to attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under the age of 13. He also copped to three counts of sexual assault of children, and six counts of taking, making, or possessing indecent images of children, and one of possessing a pornographic image of a sex act on an animal. Watkins had previously denied the allegations. Now, "he accepts he was a determined and committed pedophile," said prosecuting barrister Chris Clee QC. The incriminating evidence was found on his computers and phone.
