An F-16 military jet forced an airliner flying from Ukraine to Turkey to ground on Friday after a hijacking attempt. According to reports, a Ukrainian passenger demanded the destination be switched to Sochi, and claimed there was a bomb on board. The pilot was able to send an alert signal, which caused authorities to scramble the military jet. The plane had 110 passengers. Turkish authorities are now sweeping the plane and passengers for explosives.
