As Michael Sam impresses at the NFL Combine, Jason Collins is about to sign a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets, which will make him the first openly gay active player in North America's four recognized major team sports. Sources close to the deal say Collins should be in uniform tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. Collins hasn't played basketball professionally since April 2013, but he has been training on his own for months.
