Federal prosecutors have withdrawn a subpoena to New York's and New Jersey's Port Authority for records relating to the business dealings of Chairman David Samson. The papers were pulled for unknown reasons on Monday afternoon before media reports surfaced. Feds were apparently looking for conflicts of interest involving Samson's law firm, which has clients involved in activities connected to the Port Authority. Samson has been facing scrutiny about his involvement in Bridgegate, especially because he was appointed by Chris Christie. It's thought that New Jersey's U.S. Attorney's Office may take over an inquiry into Samson.
