'Tis the season for Apple geeks. At the annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, Apple unveiled new operating systems for the iPhone and Mac. CEO Tim Cook revealed iOS8 for iPhone, which includes the ability to respond to texts and other messaging applications from the homescreen. Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite, meanwhile, makes the desktop resemble an iPhone interface. Apple also unveiled a new HealthKit application that will monitor users' vital signs and activities, along with a HomeKit, that controls home devices like lights and locks from an iPad or iPhone.
