Broadway favorite Audra McDonald won a record sixth Tony for her performance as Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill. She is also the first to win in all four major Tony categories. She received the largest standing ovation of the evening as she thanked Holiday. “You deserve so much more than you were given when you were on this planet,” she said.
