Pull over, everyone. On Monday, General Motors announced it would be recalling 3.16 million cars due to ignition problems after eight crashes and six injuries were reported. This recall is one of six recently, as GM announced it will take a $700 million charge for second-quarter recalls. The ignition issue causes the switch to accidentally move out of the “run” position on some 2000 to 2014 models. This is the 44th recall this year, calling back a total of 20 million vehicles across the world.
