The wife of the businessman linked to a ferry disaster that killed hundreds of school children in April was arrested Saturday on suspicion of embezzlement. Kwon Yoon Ja, 72, is suspected of pouring funds from a health supplement company that she owns into companies owned by her husband and son. Her husband, Yoo Byung Un, 73, is South Korea’s most wanted man and wanted on charges of embezzlement, negligence, and tax evasion in relation to I-One-I, an investment vehicle owned by his sons that ran the shipping company Chonghaejin Marine. Chonghaejin owned the Sewol, the ferry that sank and killed more than 300 people.
