An albino cobra that is potentially lethal to both pets and humans is on the loose in a Los Angeles suburb. Officials from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife have warned residents of Thousand Oaks about the “very dangerous and venomous" snake after a dog was bitten by it Tuesday afternoon. Under California law, owners of cobras must have a permit. Authorities have yet to identify the owner of the cobra that's at large. “I am very disturbed,” said Jay Brewer, owner of the Reptile Zoo in Fountain Valley. “I don’t think there is anything positive about finding a monocled cobra.”
