Ray Rice is expected to appeal his indefinite suspension, which was implemented after video surfaced of him knocking out his wife, Janay. Sources confirmed to ESPN that Rice would try to overturn the indefinite ban that replaced the initial two-game suspension. Both the NFL and the Baltimore Ravens say they did not see the video of the incident until last Monday, a claim which has been disputed. Since Rice’s suspension, two other NFL players—Adrian Peterson and Greg Hardy—were removed from Sunday’s games for reasons related to physical abuse in their personal lives.
