Colts Player Charged With Rape

Colts lineman Josh McNary was charged with rape, according to court documents from Marion County in Indianapolis. A 29-year-old woman said she met McNary, 26, at a bar, and he took her back to his apartment. She said McNary got upset and aggressive when she turned down his advances. "He scared me, intimidated me," she told detectives. The woman said she told him to stop multiple times and fled when he went to the bathroom, stealing his cell phone because she could not find her own. McNary faces one count of rape, one count of battery, and one count of criminal confinement. The Colts released a statement: "At this time we are very concerned and trying to find out what the relevant facts are, but we have insufficient information to venture any opinion. As we learn more we will make appropriate updates."
