An Ohio man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly planning to bomb the U.S. Capitol after authorities saw him tweet about “jihad.” Christopher Lee Cornell, aka Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah, was allegedly planning to set off a series of bombs around the U.S. Capitol in an ISIS-inspired attack. The FBI arrested Cornell for allegedly attempting to kill a U.S. government official but initially started tracking him after noticing his tweets advocating for violent “jihad,” according to government documents.
