Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper has set a box-office record for the Super Bowl weekend by pulling in $31.9 million. That surpasses the previous record holder, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour which set it in 2008 with $31.1 million. Paddington tied with Project Almanac for second with $8.5 million. Rounding out the top five include the Kevin Costner racial drama Black or White with $6.5 million and The Boy Next Door with $6.1 million.
