John Forbes Nash Jr., the Nobel Prize-winning mathematician who was depicted in the film A Beautiful Mind, died along with his wife in a Saturday night taxi crash on the New Jersey Turnpike. The two lived in Princeton, where Nash was a longtime mathematician at Princeton University. Nash was 86, his wife, Alicia, was 82. They were reportedly not wearing seat belts when the driver of their taxi tried to pass a car and crashed into a guard rail.
