Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert pled not guilty on Tuesday to federal charges of lying to the FBI about illegal bank withdrawals, which he may have used to pay off a sex abuse victim. His attorney, Thomas Green, entered the plea on his behalf. The alleged victim is a former student of Hastert, who taught and coached football and wrestling at Yorkville High School in Illinois between 1965 and 1981.
