Sandra Bland, the black woman found dead in her jail cell three days after being arrested during a traffic stop, was buried in a Chicago suburb Saturday. The funeral was held at DuPage African Methodist Episcopal Church in Lisle, Illinois, where Rev. Theresa Read said Blandw would be remembered as a "young lady that refused to be subdued and silenced." Bland’s death has been ruled a suicide by a medical examiner but a Waller County District Attorney says more evidence needs to be analyzed and ultimately examined by a grand jury.
