A coroner has ruled that two of the bullets that killed unarmed homeless man Charly Keunang after a confrontation with police in March entered his body through “contact gunshot wounds,” meaning the gun was pressed directly against Keunang’s body. Officer Francisco Martinez of the Los Angeles Police Department shot Keunang six times, according to the report. The coroner's report also shows Keunang had methamphetamine in his system at the time of his death. The investigation into Keunang’s death is “ongoing,” according to police.
