After The Daily Beastreported that former CIA Director and retired General David Petraeus urged the Obama administration to use members of al Qaeda to fight ISIS in Syria, some ISIS supporters are calling for an end to the beef that has divided the self-declared Islamic State and al Qaeda. “Petraeus became senile, or maybe took a big amount of drugs,” an ISIS supporter wrote in an online forum. Jihadis tweeted that al Nusra fighters should reject Petraeus’s idea and in fact just go ahead and join ISIS already. “It has become an inescapable necessity,” one wrote.
