A circuit judge in St. Louis struck down the city's planned wage increase just a few hours before it was actually going to be implemented. Circuit Judge Steven Ohmer declared it invalid around 4:30pm. The minimum wage would have gone up to $11 by 2018 instead of the current $7.65. The initial increase would have set the wage at $8.25.
