A Singaporean megachurch pastor has been convicted of fraud after prosecutors charged that he used money from his church to fund his wife’s pop music career. Kong Hee of City Harvest Church and five of his associates face 20 years in prison for using $36 million for Sun Ho’s career. The church leaders allegedly told the court they hoped Ho’s career would draw more people to the church. Ho was not charged.
