California Gov. Jerry Brown pardoned actor Robert Downey Jr. on Thursday for drug offenses in the late 1990s. Brown granted clemency to some 91 people with drug offenses that are no longer felonies under California law. “By completion of his sentence and good conduct in the community of his residence since his release, Robert John Downey, Jr. has paid his debt to society and earned a full and unconditional pardon,” the pardon reads.
