NTSB Pushes Lower Blood-Alcohol Limit

The National Transportation Safety Board will recommend lowering the legal blood-alcohol limit for drivers to .05 from .08, in an effort to further crack down on highway deaths and injuries. The three-tenths of a percentage point difference means that, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, drivers would hit the blood-alcohol limit after three drinks in an hour, as opposed to four drinks under the current legal limit.
