Carnival Corporation gained approval Monday to begin regularly sailing a cruise ship from Miami to the port of Havana in May. After months of back and forth, Cuban authorities approved the American-British cruise company's bid for an inaugural voyage, marking the first time in more than a half-century that a cruise ship will sail between the two countries. Carnival's 704-passenger Adonia will take reportedly travelers on seven-day trips around Cuba. The first trip is set for May 1.
