The Bernie Sanders campaign has officially served the Democratic National Committee with a lawsuit over access to voter files, an issue that was essentially put to bed months ago. The new filing says that the respective sides "continue to engage in cooperative discussions in their efforts to resolve the pending litigation." A Sanders campaign source alleged that this is a way to keep the door open for a future lawsuit based on the results of an independent audit that is still being conducted.
