A transgender woman was reportedly raped inside a bathroom at the historic Stonewall Inn this weekend, Gothamist reports. According to police, the incident occurred just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday when the alleged victim was in a single-occupancy bathroom at the bar. A man in his thirties reportedly went into the restroom to “wash his hands” but then raped her. The 25-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and the man fled the bar. No arrests have been made.
