Princeton University men’s lacrosse coach Chris Bates has been fired after elbowing a Brown University player during a game this past Saturday. Video footage reportedly shows Bates striking midfielder John Yozzo-Scaperrotta as the player exited the field, just moments after Yozzo-Scaperrotta collided with a Princeton player on the field. Ironically enough, Bates’ team bio claimed his “calmness and strength serve as the bedrock of the Princeton men’s lacrosse program.”
