Bernie Sanders told The New York Times that he plans on letting go "hundreds" of his campaign's field staffers after losing four out of five primary contests on Tuesday night. The Vermont senator emphasized that the campaign wants to put more resources into California in order to get more delegates at the final contest before the convention. “If we win this, every one of those great people who have helped us get this far, they will be rehired,” Sanders said. “But right now, we have to use all of the resources we have and focus them on the remaining states.”
