A TV reporter who booked an interview with Donald Trump suddenly lost the sit-down with the presumptive Republican nominee after staffer overheard him speaking Spanish, according to a BuzzFeed report. While Marcos Stupenengo was waiting to speak with the presidential candidate at Trump Tower, the freelance correspondent for TV Azteca answered his phone and spoke in Spanish, according to sources, and the Trump campaign subsequently “informed him they had no interest in taking part in an interview with him.” In an email to BuzzFeed, Stupenengo wrote, “I can say that after 13 years of journalism, worse things have happened to me,” while declining to comment further.
