Donald Trump has warned this summer may be marred by more violence akin to the recent attack in Dallas, saying the nation is “divided” in an interview Monday. “I looked two nights ago and you were having trouble in 11 different cities, big, big trouble. And the press actually plays it down. I mean, you were having big, big trouble in many cities. And I think that might be just the beginning for this summer,” Trump was quoted as saying in an interview with The Associated Press. The country was rocked by protests last week over two separate instances of police shooting black men. Protests in Dallas took a deadly turn when a sniper killed five police officers on July 8, and dozens of police officers were injured in protests in Minnesota days later. Trump, who has repeatedly been accused of fueling racism throughout his campaign, also slammed President Barack Obama over the recent violence, saying the situation is “far worse than (the president) believes it is.”
