According to documents obtained by a French newspaper, French President François Hollande’s hairdresser costs about $11,000 a month (or 9,985 euros). The stylist—identified as Olivier B.—goes with the president on almost all foreign trips. The hashtag inspired by it, #CoiffeurGate, is circulating on social media with photos of Hollande in a variety of funny hairstyles. “Everyone gets haircuts,” said Stephane Le Foll, a government spokesman. “This hairdresser had to abandon his salon and he’s on tap 24 hours a day.” Le Foll also pointed out that Hollande’s presidential budget is reduced from the previous president, Nicolas Sarkozy.
