Speaker of the House Paul Ryan easily defeated outside challenger Paul Nehlen in his Republican congressional primary in Wisconsin on Tuesday. Nehlen caught the eye of Donald Trump, who praised him before the GOP candidate eventually backed Ryan. Ryan was first elected to the House in 1998.
