Dems Push Sanctions for Foreign Election Tampering

House Democrats have introduced a bill that would impose sanctions on foreign entities that interfere with U.S. elections. The bill, cosponsored by all 19 Democratic members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, would target any foreign person or entity found to have illegally tampered with an election. Anyone found to have illegally interfered in a U.S. election would be barred from entering the country, and would have all their U.S.-based assets frozen.
