Vice President Mike Pence said he never spoke with President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch about Roe v. Wade, a 1973 abortion case that pro-life social conservatives want overturned. During an interview Sunday with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week,” Pence said the issue of abortion is important for him and Trump, but the most important task was to find someone who is “faithful to the Constitution.” Gorsuch has never ruled on Roe v. Wade.
