Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and the panel’s top Democrat, Dianne Feinstein, announced Wednesday that they are jointly seeking a briefing from administration officials about the incidents that prompted the sudden resignation of Michael Flynn as the White House’s national security adviser this week. “According to media reports, both the FBI and the Justice Department were involved,” Grassley and Feinstein wrote in the letter. “These reports raise substantial questions about the content and context of Mr. Flynn’s discussions with Russian officials, the conclusions reached by the Justice Department and the actions it took in response, as well as possible leaks of classified information by current and former government employees.”
