Josh Earnest Joins NBC as Analyst

Former White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest has joined NBC News as a political analyst, the network announced Monday. Earnest, who most recently served as former President Barack Obama’s spokesman, made his first appearances Monday morning on Today and Morning Joe. Earnest worked for Obama for 10 years, having started as the then-candidate’s Iowa communications director during the 2008 presidential campaign. He served as press secretary at the White House from 2014 until earlier this year when Obama left office.
