U.S. Homeland Security Sec. John Kelly wants Americans to know that if they were privy to the same information he has, they would “never leave the house.” Appearing Friday on right-wing morning gabfest Fox & Friends, Kelly said, “I was telling [Fox News host] Steve [Doocy] on the way in here, if he knew what I knew about terrorism, he’d never leave the house in the morning.” He added that the threat of terrorism is “everywhere. It’s constant. It’s nonstop. The good news for us in America is we have amazing people protecting us every day. But it can happen here almost anytime.”
