A crash involving a bus and a methanol tanker killed 36 people in China on Sunday, state media reported. Only three people are reported to have survived. The traffic incident in China, where accidents involving automobiles are among the leading causes of death, came on a highway at about 2 a.m. On average, 100,000 people have died per year in accidents on China’s roads over the last decade.
