China’s economy might not be in the clear after all: despite still boasting successes in the areas of trade and construction, China’s manufacturing is slowing down and export orders are decreasing. The economy’s potential decline coincides with growing hostility from the United States where politicians like to use cheap Chinese manufacturing as an explanation for the high unemployment rate. China might soon be talked into allowing its money to appreciate, which could be a good thing for other countries but not necessarily for China.
