Major League Baseball stars Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Thome, and Trevor Hoffman were elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame on Wednesday. Jones and Guerrero topped the ballot with 410 and 392 votes, respectively, followed by Thome and Hoffman. Finalists must receive at least 75 percent of the vote among members of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America in order to be elected to the Hall of Fame. Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds, two players accused of using steroids, failed to clear the 75 percent threshold.
